Weight Loss Tips: Don’t Push Yourself too Hard

If you are serious about losing weight, then you need to commit to it. That doesn’t mean that’s it’s the end of the world if you fall off the plan – just stop beating yourself and get on with it.

Perhaps the first thing to consider when you are planning weight loss, is to think about where you’ll be, weight wise, this time next year if you don’t bother – and the reverse of that.

Once you’re determined to give it a go, think about some realistic changes that you can make. This can be a moveable feast (pardon the pun) as you make progress, but if you just decide to cut out everything that you used to eat and resort to eating nothing but seeds and running ten miles everyday, you’re setting yourself up for failure.

Research shows that the best way to lose weight – and to keep it off, is to take the slow and steady approach, make some healthy changes to your diet, so some more exercise and lose between one and two pounds a week.
